While sitting quietly in Brancusi's Atelier at Le Centre Pompidou, Cheryl Delio began to reimagine the personal training experience. As she gazed at the exquisite collection of sculpture and statuary, all made from similar types of wood and metal, yet each one singular in form and beauty, she remembered something from her days as a student at the Art Institute of Chicago: A unique, ideal form already exists within the medium. An artist merely frees it.

The same could be said for a Bespoke Fitness® trainer, she thought. Welding her knowledge and love of art, with nearly 20 years of experience as a personal trainer, Cheryl has created a singular, health and wellness experience: Bespoke Fitness. She designs supremely individualized fitness programs, unique to each client, taking into consideration his or her goals, bio-mechanics and ambitions, likes and dislikes. Working with all fitness levels, and all ages, Cheryl's intensely personalized, custom approach allows her to sculpt and ultimately free the ideal form that dwells within. 

She practiced ballet when she was younger, but she's always been an athlete. She believes the human body can move in infinite ways, with infinite intentions, never moving quite the same way twice. And she is driven to explore these ways as she provides the ultimate, singular fitness experience that is Bespoke.

They include: heart transplant patients; cancer survivors; individuals who are battling obesity...and winning; clients with severe physical injuries; pre and post natal women; athletes of all levels and ages; and fearless members of an aging population who are striving for a superior quality of life.

Cheryl created the group fitness class Workout Challenge for a chain of Chicago-based health clubs.  She holds a Master of Art in Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Art in English and Art History from St. Mary's at Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana.

From her first day as a personal trainer in 2003, Emily wanted to help her clients understand that fitness is a way of life, not a trend. 

To this end, she meets her clients where they are, making them comfortable with the training process, and helping them remain confident that they will reach their present goals...and set new ones.The real reward, of course, is when clients hit targets they'd never thought they'd reach. Not surprisingly, her passion for training is derived in no small part from the pride clients take in those accomplishments, especially when they've achieved a goal that was once unthinkable.

When Shannon was growing up, she would have done anything to get out of P.E. class.

She was always last across the finish line, and the ball was most certainly not her friend. But a few years ago, when her husband was deployed to Afghanistan, she knew she’d need a healthy hobby or risk spending the next 12 months tethered to the TV or tied to her desk at work. She contacted a personal trainer, who helped her take a flying leap out of her comfort zone and make a shocking discovery about fitness: She could do this – and she loved it.

As Shannon told others about her new interest, they began venturing into the fitness world themselves – and succeeding. She realized that when people have the support and tools that are right for them, anything is possible. She made it her mission to create custom fitness programs, tailored to individual needs, schedules, motivational styles, and even likes and dislikes, that would give people the exact resources they need to follow their own path toward their goals – and maybe even explore the possibilities beyond.

Shannon is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT). She holds a master’s degree in counseling and counselor education from Indiana University, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and psychology from Northwestern University.

Mary Drill has more than 20 years of experience working with special populations including pre/postnatal, sports-specific training, senior-seniors, obese and degenerative conditions such as Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis. She has extensive experience working with clients with acute or intermittent back, knee, hip and neck issues. 

A fitness professional since 1985, Mary became a personal trainer in 1988 when she founded Body Mechanics by Drill.  She has studied Pilates since 1998 and consistently incorporates postural cues and core activation from the Pilates method into all her client workouts.

Mary was the original Master trainer for Women's Health Foundation programming, an organization formed to conduct research,  educate and promote pelvic health in both men and women. She continues to serve on clinical advisory boards involved in pelvic health and wellness promotion and product development. 

 In 2000, Mary becamea faculty member of the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and a continuing education provider, launching "Tools for the Trainer" workshops. These workshops offer fitness trainers hands-on instruction in exercise cueing and program design. 

Mary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  She is also certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
