Bespoke Sports and Performance Lab at Studio Delcorpo

This summer Studio Delcorpo is offering two special fitness training sessions for tennis players, both juniors and adults.

The goal: to enhance the fitness and performance of each individual for tennis and to create increased sports performance, player longevity and prevent injury.

Delcorpo knows that EveryBody is different. All ages and all fitness levels will benefit from our proprietary Bespoke Sports Performance Lab…Combining customized programming and a science-based approach to training for the sport of tennis. This approach isn’t offered anywhere else, but is used extensively by professional sports teams and elite athletes.

Gain strength, increase agility, train movement patterns for tennis and train like an athlete.

SESSION 1: June 25 Adults 10:00, Juniors noon

Program Description:

Injury screening for tennis. Customized injury prevention (and rehab/prehab) programs designed for each participant attending. Personalized pre-hab programs are geared to optimize performance and decrease injury risk during the camps and ongoing.

Special focus on knees, hips, shoulder, low back. (About 15-20 min each person). Directly followed by base movement assessment and introductory strength movements for tennis. (About 1 hour group training).

SESSION 2: July 10 Adults 10:00am, Juniors noon

Program Description:
This session will build on the movement foundations introduced in Session 1 and begin to incorporate more explosive movements.

Session 2 will include:

-Dynamic Warm up and mobility

-Power exercises to increase speed and explosiveness

-Strength training to increase overall athletic performance

-Strength training geared towards at-risk areas, joints and muscles overused during tennis

-Cool down with focused stretching

-Discussion of breathing for nervous system recovery

Optional Sessions:

Continued Fitness Training for Sport (in person or via Facetime/Zoom), with homework for solo workouts

Nutrition:: eating for sports performance, a one month, or 2 month nutrition plan compiled by Delcorpo’s Registered Dietician

Filmed analysis of movement at the Rafa Nadal Academy Tennis Camp in July, and/or during Performance Sessions

PRICING:

Sessions 1 or 2 $195 per person

Sessions 1 AND 2 $358 per person

Follow up appointment with physio $160

Performance Nutrition (one-month) $350.00

Performance Nutrition (two-month) $485.00
